1. Where are you based?
We’re based in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. (Eircode V92 YA70) Our small shop is located at the front of Pro Fitness Gym, and we also operate online at www.theanglinghub.com.
2. Do you have a physical shop I can visit?
Yes! You can pop in and browse. We stock a full range of rods, reels, tackle, rigs, and accessories. Our hours can vary slightly depending on the season, so it’s always best to check our Facebook page for up-to-date opening times.
3. How long does delivery take?
We dispatch orders Monday–Friday. (Excluding Bank Holidays)
- Ireland: 2–4 working days (An Post Tracked) Or (GLS Tracked)
- EU: 4–9 working days (GLS or An Post International). Rods and long parcels may take slightly longer or ship with GLS due to size restrictions.
4. How much is shipping?
Shipping in Ireland is a flat €5.95 with An Post Tracked. Other options available at check out if you would rather ship with other couriers.
EU rates are calculated at checkout based on parcel weight and location.
Orders over a certain value occasionally qualify for free shipping during promos — keep an eye on our social media for those.
5. What courier do you use?
We mainly use An Post and GLS. Both services are tracked
6. Can I track my order?
Yes — you’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships with Gls. You can follow your parcel’s progress in real time.
7. What happens if something goes wrong with delivery?
If your parcel is delayed, damaged, or missing, get in touch straight away. We’ll track it down or replace it if needed. We always look after our customers — no one gets left high and dry.
8. Do you ship rods and long items?
Yes, but these must ship with GLS or a courier that handles long parcels. It can cost a little more, but we do our best to keep prices fair. Rods are always securely packed in tubes for protection.
9. Do you ship outside Ireland?
Yes — we ship to most of Europe. Shipping options will appear at checkout. If your country isn’t listed, drop us a message and we’ll sort something out.
10. Can I collect my order in store?
Absolutely. Choose “Click & Collect” at checkout, and we’ll message you when your order is ready for collection. Usually same day or next working day.
11. What’s your returns policy?
You can return most unused items within 14 days for a refund or exchange.
Just make sure they’re in original packaging and in resale condition.
Custom rigs, bait, and clearance items are non-returnable.
12. What if something is out of stock?
If something sells out, we usually have it on order again within a week or two. You can click “Notify Me” on the product page to get an alert when it’s back.
13. Can you order something in for me?
Yes — if it’s AKIOS, INOVA, or any other major tackle brand we deal with, we can usually source it quickly. Just drop us a message.
14. Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes! You can buy gift vouchers online or in-store. They can be used both online and in the shop. Perfect for birthdays or Christmas.
15. Is your website secure?
Yes — our website is fully encrypted and powered by Shopify, one of the most secure e-commerce platforms in the world. All payments are processed safely through Stripe, PayPal, or Revolut.
16. Do you sell live bait?
We don’t sell live bait online, but we often have fresh or frozen bait available in-store. Best to message ahead before calling in.
